Step 6 - Creating a Text Effect

Moving text always attracts visitors attention. Therefore, we are going to insert a Text Effect to highlight some important information.

Select the 'your page heading here' in the blue strip , then from the 'Insert new' drop down menu select 'Text Effects', followed by the 'below' button. A new page opens allowing you to select from 5 different effects. For this guide I will be using the scrolling effect in the top right. Click on 'create' to be taken to the Marquee editor page.

You will see an example message so click on the 'delete' option until it disappears. Highlight the remaining text, delete and type in your own text. To change the font, select from the font drop down menu. To change the color of your text click on font color. A new window will open allowing you to select from the color patches.

To add another message click on 'Add', then select the 'start new screen' and type in your text. To preview your results click on 'preview changes'. Once you are happy with your Text Effect click on 'save and publish' to insert your Module into your page. To remove the 'your page heading here' graphic click on the 'delete' button.

I then added in a Message Scroller below my Button Bar. In the 'Insert new' option select 'Message Scroller' to edit this Module. The editing process is similar to the Text Effect above.

That's it - you've now added some great new add-ons to your page to give you a better, more dynamic web page that will wow your visitors. Enjoy using ZyWeb with its integrated Module add-ons.
